Blood Sausage
Just like in Argentina, blood sausage is also popular in Scotland particularly Edinburgh. While the sausage is called Morcia in South America, the blood sausage is not given a particular name in Edinburgh. Beside deep fried mars bars, many Edinburgh restaurants boast this blood sausage as their signature dish. This dish is high in cholesterol so consume it in moderation. Many Hotels in Edinburgh also have restaurants which offer this dish although in slightly higher price. During my Edinburgh short breaks, I always ate at restaurants to avoid the premium price charged by hotel.
