I was recently looking for a way to promote my new website and a friend of mine suggested that I submit it to directories online. He pointed me to a website called The Directory Zone and told me that it was a really good directory that I should use. So I went online and submitted my website in the Computers and Internet section of the directory. Everything looked very good and I was happy that I actually found some way to promote my website. My friend Tom also uses directory submission as a method of site promotion and he told me he recently also submitted his website in the business and finance section of the same directory. I personally recommend any aspiring webmaster to use directories as a method of website promotion.
